The Project
We provide Argyll and Bute Council with a rolling annual maintenance programme for 14 community properties.
Argyll and Bute Council manages a large number of community venues dotted throughout the West Coast and surrounding islands. The Council has an obligation to keep the systems in these venues safe and functioning and needed a maintenance team they could rely on – they came to us.
We now service the sound, light, stage and AV systems in many of the Council’s schools, village halls and other venues. We got the job thanks to the quality of service we supply and the fact that we are cost-competitive and work with the minimum of fuss.
Key Points
- The comprehensive service we supply covers each venue and encompasses a wide range of inspection and upkeep services.
- Our maintenance team drives to some of the remotest corners of Scotland, including the islands of Islay and Bute, to fulfill this contract. We like to say that, “if we can do it there, we can do it anywhere”.
- Our maintenance vans contain all the necessary test equipment and spares. This means that we provide a hassle-free service and can do most repairs ‘on the spot’, even in very remote locations.
- We also provide the Council with comprehensive reports on the status of each system we maintain.
Results
Argyll and Bute Council now has the peace of mind that all of the facilities Black Light maintains are well looked after and functioning properly.
The fact that this is an on-going arrangement between Black Light and Argyll and Bute Council underlines the fact that the client is very satisfied with our maintenance work.
